Dori Singer (Youth Advisor) From a young age, Dori has had a passion for engaging Jewish youth in meaningful programs. Growing up in Chandler, Arizona, Dori was active in her Temple Youth Group and in NFTY on a regional and North American level. She served as her Temple Youth Group and regional NFTY Programming Vice President, where she strived to engage her peers in powerful experiences to learn more about themselves, their Jewish identities, and the world. In addition to youth group, Dori grew up attending Jewish summer camps.
Dori graduated from Arizona State University where she studied Nonprofit Leadership & Management and Youth Service Leadership. When she wasn’t in class, Dori was busy working as a Temple Youth Group Advisor at the congregation at which she grew up, where she was eager to put to use what she was learning in school. She continued to spend her college summers working at various Jewish summer camps, where she served as a Counselor, Media Specialist, Unit Head, Program Assistant, and Head Counselor. Outside of the Jewish world, Dori spent her time country dancing, taking trips to Disneyland, and eating tacos!
In August, Dori moved to Cincinnati with her fiancé, Austin, and is now working for Jewish Family Service. She is very excited to be joining the Temple Sholom family and cannot wait to meet you all!
