Sam Kaye (Rabbinic Intern) was born in Denver Colorado. He attend Allegheny College and after graduating worked in New York City and Chicago. While on Birthright Sam felt a spiritual awakening and fell in love with the City of Jerusalem. Deciding to change the course of his life, he left his job and moved to Israel to study Hebrew, Torah and Talmud at the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies. After an amazing year he applied to Rabbinical School at HUC-JIR and stayed in Israel to continue his studies for a second term.
Returning to North America, Sam moved to Cincinnati to advance his Rabbinic Education. In Cincinnati he met his fiance Taylor Baruchel, a Montreal Native, and they will be married in January.
Sam loves comic books, road trips, southern sweet tea, Musar, and late nights. He wants to learn to play the Oud. His thesis study is on the works of Rabbi Arthur Green, Jewish Mysticism, Spirituality, and their applications to Jewish Education.
