Tefi-Float: An Outdoor Selichot Experience

As we prepare for the High Holy Days season, join us on the Little Miami River at Loveland Canoe * Kayak on September 10 at 10am.   Get ready for a morning of reflection, restoration, and relaxation.  We’ll canoe (or kayak) together down the river while we incorporate some of the traditions of this season.

Selichot Evening Service

We kick off the High Holy Day season with a meaningful Selichot service with Rabbis Terlinchamp and Stratford and Rabbinic Fellow Ben Rosen.  Join us for this candle lit night of meditation and prayer.

Services will be both in-person and live streamed as part of our popular High Holy Days Streaming program.

Tashlich

Monday, September 26th, 12:30PM

Traditionally, Tashlich involves Jewish folks gathering around a body of water and symbolically casting their sins away. This is usually done with breadcrumbs and hearkens to the Micah 7:19 text “You shall cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.”   Join us by the pond in front of Manor House for our Tashlich service.

Community Luncheon

Monday, September 26th, 1:00PM

Join us for our community lunch after Rosh Hashanah services and Tashlich.  Your boxed lunch will be waiting for your to enjoy with friends either inside or outside on the grounds of the beautiful Manor House.  Cost for each lunch is $15.

Choices for lunch are: Grilled Vegetable Wrap or a Turkey Sandwich on a Croissant. Each boxed lunch comes with an apple, a bag of chips, a cookie, utensils and condiments.

Yom Kippur Syn-a-Plex

Join us in between the morning and afternoon Yom Kippur services from 1:00pm –  3:00pm for our Syn-A-Plex.  This will include a session with Rabbis Terlinchamp and Stratford and other interesting activities. We will be also be continuing with our ever-so-popular Social Action Project in which we pack 2000 lunches to be distributed to organizations who support the food insecure. We partner with Avon Miami Charities for this meaningful project.  Come make a difference and help us!

Religious School Sukkah Set-up

Temple Sholom Religious School is an immersive learning environment focusing on building a strong foundation in Jewish learning. With it being Sukkot the Religious School kids will be decorating our Sukkah for the holiday for everyone to enjoy. We always need parents to help construct and tear down the sukkah. Join us for a fun night under the lights with BLINK! Cincinnati.   The Nation’s largest light, art and projection mapping experience returns to Cincinnati and we are going October 14th!  We will board a bus right after Sukkot Service and spend a few hours experiencing all that is BLINK!. Simchat Torah Celebration & Consecration
